New Woods Collective

New Woods Collective are a woodwind trio consisting of Hannah Shilvock (bass clarinet), Maya-Leigh Rosenwasser (piano) and Christina Alishaw (flute and piccolo). Their unusual instrumentation has lead them to specialise in contemporary and 20th century repertoire, working with both established composers as well as emerging artists in the UK. Since forming in 2018 at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, they have performed eclectic recitals in venues such as The Old Royal Naval College Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, St Alfege’s Church and St. George the Martyr. Through the masters course at Trinity Laban, they were selected to perform in masterclasses and receive coaching from Megumi Masaki, Gerard McChrystal, Rolf Hind and Douglas Finch.

New Woods Collective are releasing their debut EP ‘Heelas’ on 3.12.21, and are also currently in the process of recording their debut album of entirely commissioned works and will be premiering and releasing this material in 2022.
