Hacha Duo are a contemporary woodwind duo, performing a variety of classical and contemporary repertoire for the clarinet and oboe and their auxiliary instruments. They regularly commission new music for their performances across the UK and have performed a number of world and UK premieres of repertoire by composers including Alastair Penman, Daniel Dorff and George Shrapnell. They met as scholars at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2018 and have performed together at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel and Southwark Cathedral. In 2020, they released their first album 'Parts and Poems of the Body' which is available on all online platforms. Hacha Duo strives to be a leading ensemble for celebrating new music for woodwind instruments and will continue to focus on commissioning new work, particularly by female composers.

  • Three Impressions for cor anglais and bass clarinet - Frederick Naftel (premiere in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel October 2020)

Arrangments including: Tico Tico, Lakme Flower Duet, Scottish Airs, Stamitz duo for violin and cello.
